05.29.2004 - The NEW Weblog

Ok, so keeping a proper weblog with hand-edited static HTML is a major PITA, hence the extremely infrequent updates. So, as of now, I have a proper blog, at jroller.com. I'll probably be posting there much more often, AND the posting should be a little more focused. I'm planning to post mostly programming stuff, and the occasional book or CD review. I'll continue to update the log here with oddball stuff / personal shit / whatever. Anyway, enough suspense.. the new weblog can be found HERE

01.14.2003 - My experiment with keeping a web log.

Ok, everybody and his brother's keeping a weblog these days, so I figure I'll experiment with the idea for a while. It's not going to be anything fancy, not using blogger or anything like that... it's just a static, hand-edited HTML page, that I'll update, umm, whenever I (feel like it | can | want too). I'm going to try and put something new up everyday, and sometimes maybe more than once a day... but then again, I'm sure there will be days when I don't touch it at all. Caveat Emptor.

I've been planning to start putting out a "Rant of the Day" feature for a while. It's available now, so check it out.

Guess what? Some of the links on my Friends page actually DO something now. The few of my friends, that I have pictures of, now have their pictures and a brief bio ( well, if you wanna call it that ) posted. Check 'em out.

OK, Thom, I have a site up now ( more or less ). Will you please quit bugging me about it, now? LOL!

As you may have noticed, I, Phillip Rhodes, now have my own personal web-site, complete with my own domain name and everything. Located on this site is gobs of information about.... well, basically... ME!

Now, that might sound somewhat self centered, but lets be honest with ourselves here... if you were looking for information about yourself, for example, you'd be on YOUR website, not mine. Anyway, as long as you're here, poke around and learn more than you ever wanted to know about: me, my friends, my school(s), my employer, my car, my bicycle, my political inclinations, blah, blah, blah, blah.... well, you get the idea.

This page is brand new, and isn't really in "production" mode yet, so expect lots of broken links, etc. while I'm piecing this together.
